Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. No pressure. No charge.
If Christianity is new to you, or you have questions about your faith, or you just want to explore the meaning of life, then Alpha is for you!

Introductory Night
Our introductory evening is held in the church hall on Tuesday 14th January @ 7.00 pm. Hopefully we can break the ice with a short introduction film. You are not committing to the whole course by coming to the introduction.

We will not be offended if you just come for the free coffee and cakes, honest!

What is it?
Each of the 10 weekly sessions begins at 7.00 pm with a meal and a chance to get to know others on the course. We then watch a video which lasts about half an hour, looking at different aspects of the Christian faith, including for example: ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘How can I have faith?” and ‘Why and how do we pray?’ Then there’s an opportunity for discussion in small groups follows, There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

When does it take place?
Coffee, cake and introduction film 14th January @ 7pm. If you can’t make the introduction, you can still come along for the first session on the 21st of January 2025.

Come along to the 10-week evening Alpha course (7.00 pm to 9pm approx) in the church hall, which runs from 21st January, 2025.
