Ministries

Leadership

MinisterOur Church is led by our Minister Malcolm Jefferson – minister@standrewsleckie.co.uk
I am married to Hannah and we have two lovely children, Samuel and Millie. I enjoy playing football, mountain biking, being in the outdoors and laughing! I have been the minister of St. Andrews Leckie and Lyne and Manor since 2012. I love Jesus and helping people discover him.

In addition to our Minister we have 26 active elders who play a role in pointing to Jesus with the rest of our congregation.

Soul Restore Counselling

Soul Restore Counselling is a service offered to Peebles with funding support from St Andrews Leckie. Counsellors with the service have a Diploma in Counselling recognised by the professional body COSCA. Our Counsellors are of Christian faith, and our service is open to all faiths and none. For more info see https://soulrestore.co.uk/

JaniceJanice Pace – janice@standrewsleckie.co.uk
I feel God has been leading me to His purpose over the last few years, and it is in partnering with Him that Soul Restore Counselling is now here serving the community of Peebles with professional Counselling, and a team of Volunteers. We can offer a place to lament, discover, build relationship, uncover purpose, and Who we genuinely are. Working alongside people in their pain, loss, or discovery is a privilege and Jesus feels close by, whether others call Him that or not. We walk in the Client’s world and their agenda and values. At a time when mental health and resilience are particularly needing to be spoken of, this Counselling service seems impeccable timing.

KathleenKathleen Mason – kathleen@standrewsleckie.co.uk
I started working for Soul Restore Counselling on 7th September. We
received the keys for our rooms at the County Buildings, Rosetta Road,
Peebles and I helped Janice set everything up to enable the Counsellors to
begin face to face counselling. My main duties are to ensure our rooms and
therapy equipment are hygienically clean between clients. I’m also
responsible for ensuring our volunteers are in place to carry out these
tasks as well making sure there is always someone else in when a Counsellor
is with a client. I also carry out administrative duties. I feel God’s presence in these rooms and my prayer life has improved.
