What to expect
01. Meet new people and enjoy good food together.
Alpha is made for people who are in the same boat – not sure about faith, but curious to find out more. You’ll meet people from your local community and get to know them over the course of your Alpha.
Each session kicks off with some time to connect and eat together. Food is usually provided free by the team running your course – so whether it’s biscuits or brisket, you’re in for a treat.
02. Watch a talk exploring a big question around the Christian faith.
The Alpha talks can either be given in person or shared as an episode for everyone to watch together.
Each talk is designed to spark conversation and unpacks a different question.
In all, the Alpha talks are designed to give an overview of the key beliefs of the Christian faith.
03. Space to hear from others and share your thoughts.
The most important part of any Alpha – an open conversation about the week’s topic.
You can share your thoughts and questions, or just see what other people made of it.
There’s no pressure to say anything or come to any conclusions – just a safe space for everyone’s unique perspective.
