Part-time – 19 hours per week (Monday–Wednesday)
Salary: £14,186 per annum (£28,000 pro rata)

Soul Restore Counselling is a professional Christian counselling service supported by St Andrews Leckie Church in Peebles. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and organised Counselling Centre Manager to lead and develop this important ministry serving the local community.

St Andrews Leckie Church has a vision to be a place of restoration and healing, reaching out to people in need and serving the community in the name of Jesus. Soul Restore Counselling forms a key part of this vision, offering safe, professional and accessible counselling support to people of all faiths and none.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with professional counselling experience and strong leadership skills to oversee the operational and strategic development of the counselling service while helping create a welcoming and supportive environment for clients, counsellors and volunteers.

The Role

The Counselling Centre Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for the counselling service, overseeing client care, volunteer counsellors, safeguarding, administration and service development.

The successful applicant will be a qualified counsellor with relevant professional membership and experience in counselling practice.  They will be able to
demonstrate their ability to work within ethical and safeguarding frameworks and will have experience in a leadership role.

They will be an organised and compassionate leader who is sympathetic to the Christian ethos and vision of the service.
